Below are the conditions that govern reading, quoting and linking to this site. Each clause is written for a reader: we set out what the page is for, what we ask of visitors, and what we are and are not responsible for. Purpose of the site

This website publishes editorial content about amateur basketball and regional sport, including league structures, fixture information and historical background. It does not sell products, tickets or memberships, and it does not process payments. Nothing on the site should be read as an offer to enter a commercial agreement.

The writing here covers local grassroots basketball across Japan, the regional sports leagues that keep local competition running through a season, and the school and street game that feeds players up into organised clubs. Coverage is editorial: a grassroots sports review of how a league actually operates, what its fixtures look like week to week, and how a club or association handles the ordinary business of a season. We publish nothing for sale on this site, and no part of it is a marketplace.

Acceptable use

Visitors may read, quote and link to the site's content for personal, educational or journalistic purposes, with attribution. Automated scraping that places unreasonable load on the site's infrastructure is not permitted. Attempts to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems are prohibited.

  • Reading, sharing and citing fixtures, league reviews and history pieces is welcome. Please keep the byline or a link to the original page when you do.
  • Educational use by coaches, students and league administrators is encouraged — the material is written to be read, not held back.
  • Bulk automated collection of pages, or any request pattern that degrades the site for regular readers, is not acceptable.
  • Attempts to probe, bypass or interfere with the systems that run the site are prohibited and will be blocked.

Accuracy of information

Content is prepared with care, but amateur league and fixture information changes frequently. Fixture details published here are a guide and may be superseded by postings from the relevant league or association, which remain authoritative. Visitors should confirm match details with the administering body before travelling.

Weather, venue changes and late withdrawals are ordinary parts of a grassroots season, so a listing that was correct on Monday can be out of date by Saturday. Where we learn of a change we will update the relevant page, and corrections sent to the editorial desk are checked against the league or venue before they are applied.

Intellectual property

Text published on this site is the property of the site operator unless otherwise indicated. Short quotations with clear attribution are permitted. Republishing substantial portions of an article elsewhere requires written permission from the editorial desk.

Short quotations in commentary, a link back to the article, and reuse in classroom or coaching material that credits the piece.

Republishing most or all of an article, reposting our photographs, or repackaging our monthly league summaries under another name.

User submissions

Messages sent to the editorial desk, including fixture tips and corrections, may be used to verify and update published content. If you send us a fixture tip, the most useful detail is the name of the competition or league, the teams involved, the date you believe is correct, and where that information came from. We check against the administering body before publishing a change.
